NamKwong Group, the CTS Macao Cooperate with Macao New Chinese Youth Association to hold a “Hotel Career Experience ” activity

In March 2022, the NamKwong Group, the CTS Macao and Macao New Chinese Youth Association held a “Hotel Career Experience ” activity for school students, aiming to enable students to better understand various industries in Macau through social practice, and inspire them in develop their interests. The event was held at the Riviera Hotel, a subsidiary of the CTS Macao. The NamKwong Youth Association and president of the CTS Macao, Zhang Jianzhong participated in the event.

The hotel director introduced the hotel's history and situation to the students in detail, as well as the skills of hotel housekeeping and catering. Under the guidance of their instructors, the students learned to make Macao's special delicacy desserts, went to the guest rooms in batches to experience the daily work of hotel practitioners, and carried out the practical process of housekeeping. Through the practical operation and communication with the tutors, the students experienced and understood the service characteristics of those two different types of work, and felt the joy of it.

After the experience activity, the President Zhang Jianzhong communicated with the students and shared his experience. He said that this was a very meaningful activity, which allowed the young people in Macau to have a deep understanding of the hotel service industry and laid a foundation for their future career choices. He hoped that everyone actively contribute to the moderate diversification of Macao's economy and the prosperity and development of Macao's tourism industry.
